2020 has finally come to a close and as we prepare for Xmas and the New Year, I thought I would do something a little different this year, so I decided to do my own Xmas / New Year video for you all. Have a wonderful and safe holiday season no matter what colour, creed, religion or gender you are.
On behalf of Rock Puppy, Epictronic and of course myself, I want to wish you a very Merry Xmas and an incredible new year.
2020 was an out of this world experience to live through! With so much happening around the world, it is some times easy to lose sight of what matters most.
As I get older I begin to ponder and ruminate on what life is all about and what can I expect from it. I believe that life is not a dress rehearsal and that you are only here for a short time before heading off to the great gig in the sky. Therefore my Xmas message to you is a short and simple one.
Be Kind.... to yourself and those around you. Do no harm and do good where you can. Live your life in hope, always being optimistic that you can and will succeed. And finally, be the beacon of hope that others can use to guide their way to a better place.
To every single person who has worked with me, performed with me, supported me in any way, form or fashion.... To those who placed their faith in me and also to those who provided professional yet critical assessments of my music....
It is you for whom the music is made. It is you that keeps me grounded, encouraged and supported to continue to write, record and release.
2020 was a crap year bringing many challenges and changes. Yet we are still here and we are still standing!
I say bring on 2021 and look out to those who wish to stop us from achieving our goals.
To the naysayers, the petty ones hidden high above in their ivory towers, the snipers ready to shoot you down with nastiness, unthoughtful and unhelpful words, the holier than thou music reviewers and press writers who rely on pushing out negative press to make themselves feel better whilst they try to stay relevant and in business. I say this... Thank You! You inspire me to keep doing what I am doing if only to prove what I and many others already know... You lose, I win and nothing like a petty press article or negative review will stop me from achieving my personal goals in life. Have some class and try being kinder in 2021, you'll be surprised how far this will take you.
Thank you once again one and all for your support and for making 2020 a better year than expected!
Be safe, stay healthy and see you at a gig sometime real soon!
With the official signing to Epictronic, things just keep getting better and better!
In less than a week from signing with the label, the music video Shout Down The Silence has reached 114k worth of views and just keeps gaining traction.
In addition, SDTS has been added to Rock Garage and featured in a special area with exclusive contents for subscribers...
Epictronic have been responsible for making this happen thanks to their great relationship with Rock Garage and their commitment to supporting their artists.
Here's the info for all you curious souls out there:
I am writing to introduce you to our new initiative officially launched on 1st January 2020 and which also involves a song by one of your bands.
We have created the ROCKGARAGE CARD, a card that allows access via smartphone to a reserved area of the site where we provide a series of contents (wallpapers, dedicated playlists and many new features that we will gradually develop).
In particular we have created a YouTube Playlist with the new monthly songs in which we have included the piece by Jeremy Harry Harris.
The latest news out of Italy is not the rising numbers of people infected by Covid 19 but of the silver lining that comes amidst this global pandemic and the rolling lock downs that has shifted the way we consume and enjoy music.
Italian label Epictronic is a shining example of this and demonstrates its commitment to future music, having just secured the rights to the new controversial single
“Shout Down The Silence”
by Jeremy Harry Harris.
Label owner Carlo Belloti encountered Harry (as he prefers to be known) out of complete chance and was immediately taken by the music and the person.
Asked why he chose to pick up his newest stable mate, Carlo said
“I only have one word in my mind to describe this: RESPECT.
For this I feel respect for Jeremy and I want to help him to succeed with his music. He has a huge heart and I am sure that God and Karma will repay him with success on his music”.
The feeling appears to be completely mutual with artist Jeremy Harry Harris delighted with the outcome of recent discussions between both parties.
“I am thrilled and humbled by the offer to join Epictronic and to have my music represented by them. The label has a fantastic track record of supporting their artists and working closely with them to achieve realistic goals and advance artist careers.
The moment I started chatting with Carlo I just knew that this was the label for me. He was upfront, honest and most importantly realistic on what he believed we could achieve by working together.
I look forward to many years and many releases with Epictronic”.
Epictronic takes on the controversial new single
Shout Down The Silence with a commitment to promote it globally through the various divisions it is aligned with including the Orchard Inc. (Sony) and Warner Chappell Music.
When asked about the song and why it was controversial, Jeremy had this to say.
“Written during the Covid-19 lockdown, this song explores the social distancing that we have really adopted and I am not talking about 1.5 metres.
I am talking about the level of disconnectedness that we as families, communities, cities, states, provinces, countries and on a global level, have allowed ourselves to become normal.
This song is controversial as it is a social commentary on what happens when we lose sight of connectedness and the consequences that arise out of doing so.
Many people just don’t want to be confronted by hard hitting truths and having it spelt out in a song and being shown the damage it caused through the accompanying music video, tends to anger some people.
I’m ok with that though because the song is also about the hope of what we can achieve if we seek understanding, unity and above all peaceful, open and thought provoking discussion amongst ourselves. Carlo agrees with me that this is a song that surmises everything we are facing in the world right now”.
Jeremy is not wrong and through the accompanying music video, paints a sobering picture that few would ever consider happening to anyone, let alone to themselves or to their loved ones. The divisive nature of the media, politics, herd mentality, fear and consequence are all explored whilst leaving room for the seed of hope to be planted, nurtured and upheld by future generations.
The song invites everyone to consider their role in creating unity for a better future.
With the video already achieving 4 Best Music Video awards at various International Film Festivals it is clear that Epictronic’s decision to sign Jeremy Harry Harris has already been validated.
“We Are The Beacon of Hope
and we can learn to
Shout Down The Silence”.
Epictronic is sure to make some noise doing just that!

Well it's been a huge month already and we've only just started it.
Here in Western Australia we have been most fortunate to avoid the worst of Covid 19.
Our borders are locked down but internally everything is pretty much back to normal.
This has meant less time for me to do video updates but I promise there's one or two on the way.
In addition to being busy with more songwriting, a few live shows to actual physical people, and plenty of radio promo and interviews, there has been yet more awards heaped upon my music video Shout Down The Silence.
Druk International Film Festival, Tagore International Film Festival,
Cult Critic Movie Awards
Virgin Spring Cinefest
have all awarded Best Music Video 2020 to SDTS.
I am so humbled and overwhelmed by the support that has been shown for this song and video.
The audio track has been picked up on numerous radio stations since being released on 9th Oct 2020 and has received great feedback from all over the world.
There's more to come that's for sure including a very special and very big announcement that will have to wait until all the pieces are in place.
Stay tuned for more updates and whilst you here, hit the video and take a look at what all the fuss is about.
Shout Down The Silence continues its whirlwind romance with International Film Festivals securing the Best Music Video award at the Tagore International Film Festival.
In addition the clip is now a Finalist at the Cult Critic Movie Awards.
Not content with these achievements, the music video has also been selected for the
Druk International Film Festival
The Virgin Spring Cinefest
It's clear that the music video is doing what it was designed for... to engage with people throughout the globe and encourage conversations so we can Shout Down The Silence together.
The only country where the video is not being selected for film festivals is the USA. Not surprising with all the rioting and unrest in that country right now.
The clip definitely hits too close to home for the Americans but then the truth sometimes is confronting and will embarrass and hurt your own rigid views.

After hearing of the success of the new music video Shout Down The Silence, VisAbility WA got in touch to write an article on the music, the video and it's inclusion of numerous people that are considered to have some form of legally recognised disability.
This included Ryan Honschooten who works for VisAbility and is legally blind.
For me, I didn't see people with disabilities, I saw amazing people willing to donate their time and be part of something special.

The emotional rollercoaster that I've experienced has been nothing short of phenomenal. I have laughed, cried, worried about it, been excited by it and lost sleep over it due to the challenges we had to overcome to bring this to life.
This is my biggest and boldest project to date and could not have been achieved without the selfless actions of so many people.

You can view it by clicking the link below.
Thank you for your support and for being part of movement of change.

I'll be personally overseeing the release of both the Official Music Video and the Director's Cut Version which includes behind the scenes footage on set, commentary from the actors involved in making the music video and some hilarious bloopers that I couldn't wait to share with you.
Upon its release on the 9th October 2020, I truly hope you will join me in sharing this video to as many people as you possibly can so that together we might enact the change we seek for a better world and future.
It's been a hectic month with countless hours being spent in the studio with Peter Renzullo editing the music video for the new controversial single Shout Down The Silence.
With all the filming wrapping up in August, we've used September to rip into editing and post production to ensure we keep our promise and have it ready to go as soon as possible.
For those who have been involved in the making of this video, I am going to send each one of you a private link so you can view it before we release it to the general public. Stay tuned as it will be coming before the 30th Sept 2020.
In between editing the music video, I have also embarked on a knowledge / educational journey to teach myself more about marketing and social media including twitter.
It's been an enlightening and sometimes interesting journey for this technophobe but I am so glad I have as it's enabled me to link up with more of you via my socials and start to get to know you all better.
I invite you to send me a message on twitter or FB and I will def respond back to you :)
I've also been working on revamps of my website, increasing access to my music through new uploads of all the Kings Of Time songs in single MP3 digital download format direct from my store page.
In addition I welcome new digital distribution partners CD Baby, ShowCo and Hear Now.
All of this is great to be part of and I am grateful for the support given to me by these companies as I pace my way through all the information and activities required to make this happen right the first time.
In between that, there's been some moonlighting on the side with some great bands I am singing for (New Sensation & Panelvan) as the great state of Western Australia reopens its economy and live music venues before any other state in Australia. I'm extremely fortunate to be in a state that has no community transmission of Covid-19.
You can check out my upcoming gigs with the bands mentioned via my FB Page.
In other news....
I decided I couldn't wait to share the Shout Down The Silence audio track with everyone so I made it available exclusively on this website.
The catch is that I am only making it available on my site until the 30th Sept 2020 and then I am taking it down until CD Baby releases it on the official release date of 09th October 2020.
So act now to secure a sneak preview copy for just $1.69 by clicking on the picture above or the link below :)
When you've downloaded it please leave your feedback in a review and hit my social media to let me and others know what you think of the new song.
Hello to everyone that committed to being part of the music video Shout Down The Silence - Protest Rally Scene.
I am indebted for your support and enthusiasm for the music video shoot. Thank you all so very much!
Due to your support and assistance, we successfully completed the biggest challenge of the video to date....
The Protest Scene
Sunday 23rd August 2020 saw over 70 people descend on to the Shout Down The Silence set in Midland to lend a hand as an extra for the Protest Rally Scene.
A wide range of people from all walks of life united as one to be part of something special.
Our cast of extras were absolutely amazing with every person there volunteering their time and efforts.
We had mums, dads, grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. Teenagers, children, blind folks, wheelchair bound folks, carers, deaf folk, professional press, industry professionals and first timers all in the one place and all dedicated to show that age, gender, race, colour, creed or physical adversity is no barrier to success when we all join together as one with a common goal and vision.
Because of this, we were able to make this the best shoot ever!
My personal thanks goes out to each person willing to give up their time for me that day. I am humbled by your generosity.
Behind the scenes people worked furiously to make things appear seamless and easy.
Special Thanks goes to the following individuals and companies that chipped in and made it look so easy!

Despite being released in the middle of a pandemic and an economic collapse in Australia, Kings Of Time continues to impress throughout the globe.
Numerous radio stations have been picking up tracks from the album for rotation on their shows.
You can view a list of all stations supporting Kings Of Time by clicking on the link below.
In addition K.O.T has also been receiving high praise from reviewers all around the world.
Here's what some are saying...
From the get go it’s obvious that ‘Kings Of Time’ isn’t going to be a run of the mill rock album.
There’s plenty of invention on offer that’ll make even the most ardent music snob prick up their ears.
Pulse-Alternative Magazine - Alex Novak
A lot of people familiar with Harry’s past work are going to love this, and anyone new will surely be hoping that this is more than just a tying up of loose ends because this kind of assured hard rocking release really is something special.
The Rock Pit - Mark Diggins
I enjoyed ’Sister’ because it has a vintage vibe and a pinch of sleaze, and I liked the upbeat feel of ’Go and Fly’.
Power Play Magazine - Vikkie Richmond
